the "DRACULA Syndrome"

As they say: great things happen to great people. Well, they are right (whoever they are).

Phil and I got a call to work on the latest vampire movie called "the Dracula Principal", starring Rebecca Melon, the great adult film star.

Rebecca wasn't there the first day, so the press people took some promo shots of some of us vampires. They asked me to pause with this pretty union snob..

That idiot thought I already had my make up on... As you can see, I didn't. And then she gave me the familiar line: "Get away from me you creep".

My roommate Phil Schwartzetti was not in the mood to pause with union snobs. He had A LOT of coffee that morning.

Phil usually doesn't drink coffee, but he does when it's free, like, on the set.

He had at least 9 cups when they asked him to pause with this girl. She asked him about his hat.

Even I know better...

He got pretty upset, then he tried to grab her and get her phone number. Or the other way around.

On the 3rd day, they finally let us actors act.

I had a scene with the famous Bambie Doll, who went "mainstream" in 1992.

I was supposed to give her a shot, to wake her up. In the film, I am supposed to eat her later.

I got kind of exited, and, I gave her a real shot. You should have heard her scream. A real pro. Even I got scared. But the director said I wasn't supposed to touch her.

I I told him I couldn't compromise my craft, and left the set. For 10 minutes. When I got back, they already had another guy. They had replaced me with a union snob extra!

That same day, Phil also had a scene with Bambie Doll. He was supposed to appear to her as a ghost. They shot that scene at least 28 times. Vince had a tough time concentrating, because of the coffee he was still drinking.

I wasn't there, but there was a big scene on the set after the 35th take, and they all got very upset. Especially Miss Doll.

Later, Phil told me they accused him of "exposing himself behind the window".

He doesn't really remember, because of all that coffee.

The next day, Phil and I had our big scene together.

I was playing the same guy, the one who ate the girl. And Phil was the ghost, still in love with her. We had no lines to say.

Phil was still very high on all that coffee he had all night. And I was very hot under all that stuff they made me wear. To top it all, the director asked Phil to remove his "stupid hat".

Well... On thing led to another, and we were escorted off the set. I even heard some of the union snobs laughing.

We complained about the abuse to our Boss, Mr Mojo, and wrote a letter to the director.

We were also upset when we realized we never got to meet Rebecca Melon!

Weeks later, we got a really nasty reply from the director and his lawyers, and also, that signed picture of Rebecca.

Usually, stars send you the generic 8x10, but she took the time to personalize her gift.

Something I will never forget. These little things make life worth living, don't they....
