2004 Subaru Legacy.
Once again, it is "more of the same" from the Subaru design studio. Nothing original or unexpected.

But the cars are still attractive, especially the new wagon which will be the base for the upcoming Outback.

EEngines for the US will again be the 2.4 L 4 or the 3.0 6 cyl.

Let's just hope GM doesn't turn this one into a Saab, like they're doing with the Impresa wagon...

The bigger news are inside. The all new interior is a huge improvement over the 1980's look of the current car. Metalic finish replaces the fake looking "wood trim". And the whole console is angled towards the driver. Thsi should end up being one of the best midsize car interior available.

2004 Subaru OUTBACK.
And there is the new Outback. No surprises there . It still is a raised up version of the wagon. And it still works.

It is better looking than most SUVs, and uses the same engines as the wagon. The previuos model was already a nice riding luxury wagon, and this one should even be better yet.
